Established in 1956, the California Country Club features a championship golf course with a total yardage of 6,814. The course rating is 72.7 and the slope rating is 128. Its natural terrain and mature tree-lined fairways challenge the experienced golfer, while providing challenging enjoyment to the up-and-coming player.
The par 72 course was designed by William Bell who is probably best known for his design of Torrey Pines and Honolulu's Hawaii Kai.
Bell's talents are clear in the layout design at C.C.C. Whatever your level of skill, the CCC layout combines all the features of a tried and true mature course with an endless variety of challenges. Multiple pin and tee placements allow varying degrees of difficulty.

Many holes are located right next to a busy and noisy freeway.

Adjacent freeway is noisy, but tollerable. Very good layout, with a mixture of long and medium par fours. Total length from blue tees approximately 6800. Several moderate elevation changes add to overall couse difficulty. I play the course once a year during holiday season, and have alway enjoyed the round. A good golfer will enjoy the couse in my opinion.
